Brief Description of Activity
1 Hosted Job Fair On May 13, 2008, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc.-
Beaumont hosted an Open House for Account
Representative positions. The event was promoted
on-air. The General Sales Manager, Local Sales
Manager and a Sales Account Executive attended
the event to provide information on AE positions at
the stations and meet with applicants.
2 Hosted Job Fair On March 26, 2008, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc.
hosted a Job Expo for Account Representative
positions at The Port Arthur Civic Center in Port
Arthur, TX. The event was promoted on-air. The
General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, two
Sales Account Executives and several Account
Executives attended the event to provide
information on the AE positions at the stations and
meet with applicants.
3 Co-Hosted Job Fair with Beaumont
Enterprise
On November 5, 2008, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc.
– Beaumont, co-hosted a Job Fair at the Beaumont
Civic Center. The General Sales Manager, Local
Sales Manager, Sales Account Executive and
several Account Executives attended the event to
provide information on these positions and meet
with applicants.
4 Internship Program Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc. – Beaumont has an
established internship program whereby students
from local universities can work at the station to
earn academic credit. During Winter Semester
2008/2009, the stations had one intern from Lamar
University. The intern worked in the programming
department.

Participate in event sponsored by an
educational institution relating to
careers in broadcasting.
On January 15, 2009, a Morning Announcer from
KTCX spoke about careers in broadcasting at the
Beaumont Charter Academy career day in
Beaumont, Texas.
6 Participate in event sponsored by an
educational institution relating to
careers in broadcasting.
On November 20, 2008, a Morning Announcer
from KTCX spoke about careers in broadcasting at
the Anahuac High School in Anahuac, Texas.
7 Management level training regarding
equal employment opportunity and
preventing discrimination.
On April 4, 2008, our SEU participated via
teleconference in a training session entitled, “The
Nuts & Bolts of EEO Compliance” as presented
by outside communications counsel for Cumulus.
Station participants from our SEU included the
Market Manager and Business Manager.
