Alt-pop superstar Billie Eilish recently shared an extended cut of the second half of the track “L’Amour de Ma Vie.”
“L’Amour de Ma Vie,” which is French for “The Love of My Life”, is a song from Eilish’s third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft. The album was released through Darkroom and Interscope Records on May 17, 2024.
Written by Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell, who also produced the track, “L’Amour de Ma Vie” is a breakup song composed of two distinct parts.
“MADE AN EXTENDED EDIT FOR YOU TO DANCE IN THE CLURBBBBBBB TO!!! WEEEEEEEE!!!” Eilish wrote on Instagram following the track’s release. “‘L’AMOUR DE MA VIE [OVER NOW EXTENDED EDIT]’ OUT RIGHT NOWWWWW HEHEHEEEE”
“It’s not that complicated / I wasn’t satiated / You’re looking older lately / Dating another baby,” go newly added lyrics.
Eilish also unveiled the extended version’s cover art, a close-up photo of the singer showing off two silver teeth with multicolored contacts in her eyes.
